The end of August is nigh and retailers are already rushing to stock their shelves with knit sweaters, global warming be damned. Temperatures aren’t falling–it’s still hot AF–but while everyone else is dreaming of crisp fall days and blustery autumn nights, I’m clinging passionately, desperately, frantically to these final dog days of summer.

Summertime is my time to shine, folks. Tis the season of long sunny days, amazing sunsets, and wearing as little as humanly possible (part fashion, part actual combat against steamy temps.) It’s the season of sun on tanned (or, if you’re me, lightly burnt) skin. The sun doesn’t set til 8:30, and we’re here for it! Seasonal depression who? It’s ALSO the time for lightweight, breezy lingerie in vibrant colors.

Enter: Impish Lee Summer 2019.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll already know that I’ve been following the babes of Impish Lee for a while, so I’m a longtime fan. Their jam: made to order luxury underpinnings, cut to fit your unique body. Their website features a design option, where you can mix-and-match your own fabrics for a one-of-a-kind piece, or you’re welcome to shop their pre-designed collections. Whichever way you go, you’re golden.

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with the brand several times (much to my absolute glee) so I’ve had the opportunity to get my little hands on some of their truly luxe pieces all in the name of blogging. (What a time to be alive!) When their summer collection dropped a few weeks back, the bold hues and actual bombshell models stopped me in my tracks. Behold!

The collection, while still featuring gorgeous lounge staples in black, grey, and navy, is punctuated with bright pops of lemon, teal, cobalt and coral. And in lightweight combinations of lace and mesh, it’s perfect for these stifling summer days!

Impish Lee graciously sent along a custom-fit set of their brand spankin’ new Tori set for me to try. How’d I like them? See for yourself:

The Tori set from the Summer ’19 collection features soft grey mesh with accents of peachy-pale pink, which made for an unlikely (and incredibly gorgeous) color combination. Because all monitors are calibrated differently, I originally thought that Tori was white/peach, and when this light grey babe arrived, I was delighted. Because these beauties were made to my measurements (41″/32″/44″), the fit is absolutely spot on.

I have a very long torso, and typically need a 13-14″ rise in order for an item to be truly high-waisted on my body. These knickers hit at the curve of my waist and right above my belly button, making them the perfect height for my frame. The bralette features fully adjustable straps, a wide, soft band, and two rows of hooks and eyes at the back for supportive lift. The strappy design of the bralette basically begs to be shown off underneath a low-cut neckline!

Impish Lee has once again proved that luxury has no “size range”, and that every body is worthy of made-to-measure goodness. They continue to offer an expansive range of sizes sizes (28A-44J and 0-30 (US) as a standard!) as well as offering the option to custom-make every item in their shop to your exact measurements. They continue to utilize truly diverse models of many shapes, sizes, and colors, showing beauty in all it’s forms. As their business has expanded, they have continually shown their dedication to displaying diversity in all it’s forms. In all, the sisters behind the brand are rockin’ the game, doing a lot of things right, and we should be paying attention.

XO,

-Jess
